JUNIOR CODE OF CONDUCT 

Wem Cricket Club has policies and codes of conducts designed to keep children and vulnerable adults safe. Questionairres helped us write the JUNIOR code.

JUNIOCODE OF CONDUCT RIGHTS RELATIONSHIPS RESPONSIBILITIES

This code sets out the best practice standards and guides against complaints by providing a measure in determining sanctions.

RIGHTS Junior members must

Learn about the club and its policies

Be inclusive and respect everyone

Report any concerns to a trusted adult asap

Not discriminate and never bully or harass others

Follow the social media and new technologies policy

FOR PARENTS Pass on messages to their parent/carer


RELATIONSHIPS Junior members must

Be trustworthy and represent the club well

Respect other players’ opinions

Be well-behaved and kind towards others

Not fight or argue

Be a positive role model, especially to younger players

Respect the Umpires’ decision and behave well towards the opposition


RESPONSIBILITIES Junior members must

Be punctual and inform the club/coach if they are late

Wear suitable sports kit and not carry valuables

Use positive language and not swear

Not drink alcohol or smoke

Treat the changing rooms and amenities with care (home and away)

Pay fees on time
